I found the tree. We've had it up for several weeks now. Here it is! I knitted a little camo sock. I also have a set of knitting needles leaning against the tree looking festive.
I've also made a holiday hat for myself:

It is a slouchy hat that I can pull down and cover my ears when it gets cold. I made a teal/green one in for my MIL in a similar striping yarn

This is a children sized version of
The Boy Hat. I knit for 5 inches before starting the decreases. This makes a nice stretchy hat. It even fits my big head! I made this for a friend who is doing a little bit of holiday cheer for a group of children at a local Crisis Center. I only wish that I could have made more, but this was all that I could squeeze into my holiday knitting. I am still knitting a lace hat in mission falls 136 Blue:

This one is for his Grandmother and I made the same hat in a red for Nanna, his other grandmother. I was so excited when I finished Nanna's hat that I wrapped it up as soon as finished. I am planning to photograph this one when I finish it. Well, back to knitting.....
