If you sew, you can make a cool neck scarf . It is filled with water crystals that you can purchase at any home and garden center.
Today,in an attempt to stay cool and enjoy some social knitting, DH and I went to knitting today at a local Starbucks. I got a shakened iced green tea and DH got a green tea frappacino. We also purchased a bottle of Ethos water to share. We also shared a slice of yummy lemon pound cake. I knitted with friends for a couple of hours. The Starbucks tend to keep their establishments very cool making it a nice place for public knitting in the heat.
